    Hermans Hermits are one of those "feel good" groups & there has been many times that my wife & I will go cruising down the highway with their Greatest Hits playing singing along with every song.

    Another one of my favourite Herman's Hermits tunes:

    I remember some debate back in 1967-68 as to whether Dandy was said to be "jacking off" the ladies in the song!

    There's no question though that Herman's Hermits put out some very good music despite not being taken seriously by rock critics of the day. Hell, I didn't take them seriously when I was in high school myself but with age/maturity I've realized that music doesn't have to be serious - it just has to be good!

    Hep, if you have that Retrospective album, you may have an SACD in your collection and not even know it. I think that one was issued on a hybrid disc, with separate CD and SACD layers.
