I have "Burning Star" but that's it so far. I have only played it once so I'll have to dig it out an listen to it again to get a feel for them.

My favorites are A Distant Thunder, Nosferatu, The King of Hell & Glory of Chaos. With probably Nosferatu and The King of Hell topping the list.

I have read good things about one album in particular by Helstar, Nosferatu. I have to admit I have not listened to it though or this band before.

I will say one thing, the vocalist has a killer scream.

James Rivera is easily one of my top ten vocalist. I track down all his numerous
side projects when ever possible.

I've read about this band but never heard any of thier tunes. Some great tracks.

Wolf, what difference do you hear between US power metal and European power metal?

Picked this one up this morning DKW, so I'll play it tonight.

I did see a "Compilation" CD as well, but I prefer to get the individual albums if possible.

Breaking that one out later LG:grinthumb

@ Joe, American power is more rough containing a bit more thrash elements
most the time. Euro is usually VERY melodic especially vocally and also contain symphonic elements for the most part.

So is your lack of a follow up on the album here a sign that you were not that enthused about what you listened to ,LG ? :D
