I am in the process of digitising some 70s rock music recorded from FM radio onto cassette tape back in the day.
Most of the recordings came from The Friday Night Rock Show (Alan Freeman / Tommy Vance).
There are a couple of tracks I have been unable to identify.
I tried to attach an MP3 snippet but I get a message that MP3 is not allowed.

If I change the file extension from .mp3 to something else (e.g .txt) would that work?
The listener would obviously have to change the extension back again after downloading.

Excellent! Many thanks for that.

I have another few cassettes to digitise so there will be more unidentified tracks to come.
I will upload more mp3 snips later.
It's actually a great way to rediscover some less well known rock bands from the past.

I used a Technics cassette deck I bought in 1982 for the original recordings.
It has dbx so the quality & noise is not too bad. Obviously the bandwidth is limited to 15kHz for FM broadcast.
After 42 years the deck is still working ok - although I did have to change one of the drive belts recently.
My aim is to digitise my remaining tapes before something goes wrong with the deck that I am unable to repair.
