Spooky Tooth is one I have heard of before but never got around to checking into. I the know that the bassist for Humble Pie was originally in ST. Will be looking into them...great tune. Frijid and SLB are both great bands of the early 70s that I'm already aware of. Looking more for late 60s stuff but not ungrateful for your efforts :grinthumb

Yeah, that's my fave Spooky Tooth album. I will keep digging. :grinthumb

Mountain a band formed in '69 with a strong early 70's output.

Groundhogs, well worth checking out. Hard blues/rock.

Atomic Rooster formed '69, may interest you.

Some excellent suggestions so far. Couple I'm checking out myself. :grinthumb

Some more albums I can think of -
Free - Fire & Water. Awesome blues/hard rock band.

Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow - acid rock at it's best

West Bruce and Laing - Why Dontcha

Bakerloo is excellent. They only released one album. Kinda like a cross between Cream and Sabbath...
