IMHO, it sounds some pop and saccharine for Steve. Why would he need it, in his old age?

Just some food for thought but maybe an artist makes pop when he's happy in life and they make happier pop songs to reflect that. That being said, the song does sound generic and that's my only problem with it. I see no problems with a rock star delving into a pop sound for a change in direction though but that's just me!
