I am sure the fear of missing out plays heavily on the minds of many people, especially in the suburbs. So many people are so anxious to celebrate some holidays. The stores push them greatly as well. So often, September barely begins and people put out their Halloween decorations. But why do they not let the decorations linger a little longer instead of celebrating Halloween in August?
Then, Halloween will no sooner be over that they throw all the stuff in the basement and beginning unboxing Christmas that they skip Thanksgiving all together. Some people are compelled to compete with their end of the year holiday celebrations.
Well, either that or I’m just an asshole.
