Green River is Grunge band from Seattle, Washington. They were originally active from 1984-1988 with one off reunion in 1993. In 2008 they reunited and have played several live shows since. Even though they had little commercial impact, Green River was very influential for the grunge scene, both with their music and with the music the members would create in future bands Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam and Mudhoney.

Green River were one of the starters of the grunge movement and the first band to release a record on the Sub Pop label.

Dry As a Bone/Rehab Doll is a must download for those true grunge fiends. I'd like anyone and everyone to check it out so much that I went ahead and found the torrent for you. No excuse now.
