Name a song or two or three by your favorite rock bands that doesn't get the airplay or recognition it deserves! I'm talkin' about songs that never seem to make it into the band's setlists or get onto their greatest hit compilations but is one of their best tunes in your opinion.
Here's my pick:
Another Tricky Day - The Who. This song is incredible! Great lyrics, great sound, just an incredible late-period Who song with Kenny Jones on drums from the underrated Face Dances album of 1981. But the only songs from the late period that get played often seem to be two other great tunes: You Better You Bet (from Face Dances) and Eminence Front (from It's Hard). I think Another Tricky Day ranks up their with many Who classics.

Let's see, I'll name a few. Many of these were done with different lineups from these bands, so that is part of the reason they were shoved under the rug in later years.

-AC/DC: Two's Up
-Aerosmith: Lightning Strikes
-Bad Company: Holy Water
-Lynyrd Skynyrd: Pure and Simple
-Motley Crue: Keep your eye on the money
-Deep Purple: King of Dreams
-Black Sabbath: Headless Cross
-Yes: I am waiting
-Dokken: Puppet on a string
-Metallica: 2 x 4
-Judas Priest: Death Row
-Iron Maiden: Judgment of Heaven
-Foreigner: Until the end of time
-Guns N' Roses: Coma
-Cheap Trick: Ghost Town
-Billy Joel: All About Soul
-Rolling Stones: I Go Wild
-Tom Petty: Girl on LSD (admittedly a b-side but a very good one)
-J. Geils Band: Piss on the wall
-Loverboy: Big Picture
-Quiet Riot: Main Attraction

Here's one, Bob Seger when he "Rocked" from Night Moves.

Sunburst, I just loved this song the first time I played it, and never thought it got enough attention.

I could go forever about Genesis, and I've covered a lot of them in my Band Of The Month thread, but for the moment I'll put up Twilight Alehouse and Hairless Heart:

(only the first half)

Also, Phil Collins has a lot of gems in his solo career that I'm currently listening through, Like China is probably my favourite recent discovery of his:
