I have given up trying to find a copy of "Strange Animal" Hep, but at least I have his greatest hits.

I have heard that he was a great fit for Styx as well, I don't know who is left from the original line-up anymore except Tommy Shaw, and he wasn't even added until Crystal Ball was released the sixth studio album of the band.

He's got a new Greatest Hits out "Return Of The Strange Animal".

note:Tommy Shaw wasn't an original Styx member,he joined the band during "Crystal Ball".

JY Young is the only original member of Styx.

Yes JY is still touring with Styx.

That's good to know, I imagine he is getting up there in years now.

With Gowan,Shaw and JY,it Todd Sucherman on drums and Ricky Phillips(formerly of The Babys and Bad English) on bass.Chuck Panozzo makes the occasional apperance.He is still listed as a band member on the Styx website.
