I haven't used my PC for the past few months because my AV subscription expired. I won't turn the sucker on unless it's protected.

Anyway, I use Adblock plus on my PC since my browser is IE. I have had no issues while using it. What I'm waiting for is UBlock Origin to expand to IE. This one is da bomb......uses less resources than AdBlock, has more customizable settings, and has super simple interface. If you're using Firefox, Chrome, or any Apple browsers, check it out.

I'll give it a whirl but I haven't had to use many settings with ad block plus just add some filters and she's good to go. It whitelists my cash back shopping sites so their affiliate links work and no ads do. Also I at ie. Firefox for life.
