Strike that, the band was called the Capital City ROCKETS. I don't know much about the band besides the fact that they released one album on the Elektra label with Eric Moore playing bass in 1973.

The lead singer of the Capital City Rockets was Jamie Lyons, who had previously sung lead for the The Music Explosion of "Little Bit 'O Soul" fame. The Capital City Rockets album isn't anything to write home about, although I love the song "Little Bit O' Fun", undoubtedly titled as a tribute to Lyons' former band'***** record. I'm sure that "Little Bit O' Fun" must be on youtube.

The old Y-95 In Rockford used to play "Gotta Keep a Running" from time to time. I was a teenager then, and always got a kick out that song.
