    Gerry Anderson who created Thunderbirds, Joe 90, Stingray, Captain Scarlet, UFO, Space 1999 & Fireball XL5 has died at the age of 83. You will be missed :rip:

    Only way I could watch Space 1999 was to have the vhf antenna at just the right angle on the b&w tv I had in my room,Channel 29 from outta canada,Airwaves barely came across lake Erie.

    R.I.P Gerry Anderson . I loved all his work especially Captain Scarlet who was a massive hero of mine in my childhood . Puppets...?? dont be daft they were real !!...and Captain Black was a goth :heheh:

    Loved his shows but especially Thunderbirds and UFO...:bow:

    My brother and I made replicas of all his cool models with our plasticene, they looked great too.:D
