This is one of my favorite Punk tunes of all-time. I've lived through punk & read a lot of books/magazines on it & always found it odd that I never seen or heard any real mention of this tune
Any early punkers on here?
Good old 'attitude lip' Billy Idol...long before Hot In The City and Sigue Sigue Sputnik, the X played the Roxy and The 100 Club and were loud and impressive .
Chrysalis signed 'em.
I saw Billy with his long-time guitarist Steve Stevens in Louisville, KY, a handful of years ago too, from recollection. Pretty good, I've always liked those two.
As for Gen-X, they were a very decent punk group. Some really good tracks, a lot posted here.
Yep, I scored them live several times, with a very young Adam & The Ants supporting... Billy in ankle Stranglers and dirty converse giving it major lip action.
Shame things went south, when Bill skipped to the States on his 'motorciccle'
(Google Sigue Sigue Sputnik) if you dare!
