Give Nicolas Cage a chance to go completely fuckin' nuts, seeking revenge against a Charles Manson-type cult that can summon demon-bikers. Open it with a King Crimson song and sprinkle in hallucinogenic sequences and you get:
Mandy (2018) Now Available on DVD & Blu-Ray
I'm not a big fan of teasers, but this one got me all excited >>
Did you like the all-female version from a couple of years ago?
Yeah, I thought it was O.k. I went to see it twice, once alone, once with my wife and picked up the extended version on Blu-ray. Still, not on par with the originals and I'm certainly happy that the next one will be a sequel to the originals.
This is an edited clip from Kiss of the Dragon starring Jet Li
I had real empathy for both parties involved, but there was a Happy End!
Kick ass movie if you want to know about the Real French Connection & how very 'complex' it is......
I've found this opening scene in 'Apocalypse Now' to be the most informative Military aspect concerning "Military" control during the Vietnamese 'conflict'
The way they hand the "Mission" over to the "Captain" is a bit too Tidy.
So, we've got a live-action Aladdin coming out in a few months. I wasn't even aware that Disney was doing this. Just like with the other live-action remakes that they are doing, I'm not sold on a need for it, but apparently they are making a killing on them. Personally, I'd rather stick with the original animated classics (Aladdin, Lion King, Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast).
Anyway, seeing a LOT of guff on the interwebs over the past couple of days with people griping about Will Smith being the genie. I don't have an issue with it. He probably has the personality to pull it off.
Anyway, here is the latest teaser:
I agree that there's no need for this, but since it's happening, I'm OK with it and I'm OK with Smith playing the Genie. My daughter, like most kids, is obsessed with Disney Princesses and her absolute favourite is Jasmine. She knows about this movie and wants to see it, but I have a feeling she's still a bit too young for a live-action version.
On a side note, here's a brand new trailer for Pet Sematary:
April 5th. I'll be there on opening night!
Seems pretty accurate.
I will reserve judgement until I see it. I may see this one in the theater... not sure yet.
I had ZERO interest in the live action Lion King and probably will never see that unless someone pays me to do so.
