Looks like EVE Online on steroids.
I used to play EVE Online and it shares similarities. Genre, gameplay, etc. I was involved in a clan battle with almost a thousand players in their space rigs and the scale was absolutely colossal. They attacked us on a whim with no hail and lasers went everywhere.
This looks very intriguing.

Yes very interesting indeed.
I could see myself getting immersed in it.
What is very intriguing is that it has some of the old time game developers at the helm.
Chris Roberts the guy behind the old Wing Commander stuff is the head.
It also has Tony Zuravec from the Crusader games (No Regret, No Remorse) and Ultima.
I loved Wing Commander and Crusader back in the day.
