Freddie Garrity was the skinny guy in a suit who wore the Buddy Holly glasses & invented the zany high stepping dance routine named after him, performed to their most famous hit "Im Telling You Now".

Freddie & the Dreamers appeared several times on the Ed Sullivan show, back in the early days of the Beatles, Stones, Animals, & Kinks, circa '64-'65. They had a rather large discography, for a group that has been long forgotten.
