Just read on Classic Rock Magazine, the last member of classic "DWBY" Atomic Rooster line up, John Du Cann, has passed away. Apparently it was a heart attack.

I just don't know what to say...

And so it goes...I just got into Atomic Rooster a few months ago, in fact it's because of their fans in the forum I got to know them a lot better.

RIP John Du Cann.

Very sad news. It sucks losing another well known member in the music business.

Sad news. In Hearing Of... was the first cassette that went into my Sony Walkman 30 years ago. Too bad that him and Crane had indifferences in the recording of In Hearing Of... as the Rooster was never the same and DuCaan's next band, Hard Stuff doesn't match up to Death Walks Behind You and In Hearing Of...

R.I.P.

"In Hearing of" was and still is a great album. The pairing of Crane and Cann was never really bettered within Rooster.

It's a shame his passing did'nt make bigger news - great musician.

His later bands are worth checking out too, as well as his pre Rooster days - plenty to discover on youtube
