Well. I want to see some movies right now and I wonder what are your favourite Rock&Roll movies, biopics or documentaries that you find interesting. It can actually be of any type of music, the title is just to avoid confusion between music related movies and musicals. I had never seen 'Almost Famous' and I loved it, how it shows the world of rock&roll, the groupies, the life of bands, etc. I also loved Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story that is a parody of several biopics like the ones of Ray Charles and Johnny Cash. So, what are your favourites?

(I supposed there was already a thread like this but I couldn't find it in this section of the forum, I don't know if it's anywhere else. Please delete the thread or move it if you consider it necessary).

Of the one's that aren't mentioned, I loved:

The Boat That Rocked (Pirate Radio in US)

Also, not sure if this one counts, it is a musical movie but it basically takes a lot of Beatles elements and mashes them together, including Liverpool, character names from the Beatles (Jude, Lucy, Maxwell, Sadie, JoJo, Prudence, Dr Robert, Mr Kite), the general era, and Beatles songs, so I put it as both a rock 'n roll movie due to being a homage to the Beatles, and a musical.
