There are a number of "talk box" songs out there, some are very well known and the use of the talk box is very obvious. Others, it's a bit more subtle.

    Which ones are your favorites?

    .
(link a song if you can and list the artist/song title in case the vid link ever breaks... please and thank you)

If you don't know what a talk box is, or what it sounds like, this is a short vid explaining the setup with a few sounds at the end of the video sampling the effect.

Not sure if you are serious or kidding. Either way, I added an explanation vid to the first post.

similar in some ways but probably a lot more like a 'flanger' or 'phaser' pedal/effect. It doesn't have to be used with a guitar, but that's where it has been the most mainstream. I've seen it used with keyboards before, which is also pretty cool. I think even Stevie Wonder used one on occasion.

No, not autotune. Watch the vid in the first post. You got it right with the AIC song. I could post 20 songs without even thinking about it, but I wanted to give others a chance to post some as well.

Autotune is a very different beast (and usually an ugly one at that).

Peter Frampton used it in a few songs as well.
