I think the 70's had more live albums "per capita" than any other decade, and how lucky we were for that. So what were your favorites?

And so as to get a semi-accurate measure of popularity, you may vote for as many of your favorite live albums listed as you wish.

I know I missed some (KISS Alive II), but the poll limit is only 20. If you have a favorite not included in the poll section, please include it in your post.

As much as I loved Aerosmith back then, I just couldn't get into Live Bootleg. Should have been a warning to me on what to expect when I saw them in 84. :D

I'm not the world's biggest fan of live albums but I voted for "Live at Leeds" and I would also have voted for "Absolutely Live" by the Doors had it been listed.

Wish I would've remembered that one, Hep. Sorry! And I love that chick's comments to Jim as he is talking to the audience. :lmao:

Damn... I also forgot about Traffic's On The Road. Another great live album!!

Maybe one of the mods can put The Doors - Absolutely Live in place of The Outlaws. I love Green Grass and High Tides, but the live 17 minute version was a bit much even for me.

Or maybe I can do a second poll for the other live albums, as there wasn't room for Zappa or KISS Alive II either.

Just make another poll after this one runs it's course KMET, I am sure you can come up with some more worthy albums to put in it.
