I like a lot of different songs by a lot of different artists since Y2K, but not their albums. About the only albums I like since Y2K are by:

Audioslave, Tommy Lee, Velvet Revolver, Lacuna Coil, Shinedown, Crossfade and Breaking Benjamin.

Not a lot. And a little over half of those are carryovers (in some way, shape or form) from the 90's. : /

Upon further review, I do like Crystal Method's electronic/techno album Tweekend from 2001, so I guess there's another group to add to my list.

Hmmm, so the CD had to be released between 2000 and 2009. My favorite would have to be Simple Plan's first (No Pads, No Helmets, Just *****) released in 2002. It's pop punk and emo all rolled up in a nice package; there's not a bad song on the whole CD.

You might have to wait until these years come around in my thread but you can bet that Alanis Morissette, Jeff Beck, The Decemberists, and even Cheap Trick to name a few released some really great albums between 2000 and 2009.
