Faun Official Website

They may be labeled pagan folk but this German band has created some music that stands a little outside ordinary folk.
Faun uses a multitude of instruments including the: celtic harp, Swedish nyckelharpa, hurdy gurdy, bagpipes, cittern and flutes.
With the surprising amount of 6 released albums and 3 DVD's, this curious band could very well have you intrigued by their style of music.

Albums:

Zaubersprüche (2002)
Licht (2003)
Lichtbilder (DVD, 2004)
Renaissance (2005)
Totem (2007)
Ornament (DVD, 2008)
FAUN & The Pagan Folk Festival - Live feat. Sieben & In Gowan Ring (2008)
Buch der Balladen (2009)
Eden (2011)

Enjoy!

Re: Faun

Don't have time right now, but I'll be back to check them out later. I love all this old fashioned eclectic folk music.

I'm glad you enjoy it MP
I find it to be the most delightful feeling when you come across something outside your boundaries that you really enjoy =]

So I started listening to this band and I love their sound. I started off with Eden, their newest album. I was watching this movie "Black Death" and this music sorta' reminds me of it which i guess makes me appreciate the music a little more? Sounds crazy but true jaja
