From wiki:
Fanny was an American all-female band, active in the early 1970s. They are regarded as pioneers for being one of the first notable rock groups made up entirely of women, the third to sign with a major label (after Goldie & the Gingerbreads and The Pleasure Seekers), and the first to release an album on a major label. They achieved two top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and released five albums.

Fanny (1970)
Charity Ball (1971)
Fanny Hill (1972)
Mother's Pride (1973)

Love that Special Care song. Just discovered this band the other day when I found them on YouTube.

When I got out of the Army in '71 the first concert I went to was The Kinks. I ask my friend who else was playing and he said "some girl band".
When Fanny came out I didn't know what to expect but I was soon hearing some good rock and roll with hot lead and slide guitar.
A few days later I found their first album and eventually found Rock And Roll Survivors.
