Re: Extreme

This is a thread that I actually would've made believe or not as I like these guys a lot. They were one of my first favorite rock bands after Aerosmith! I mostly like Pornograffitti and III Sides to Every Story!

Honestly, you can't have an Extreme thread without this song! :heheh:

More Than Words

But beyond that:

Rest In Peace

and

Stop The World

kicked ass! :grinthumb

Question?

III Sides to Every Story

was a concept album, right? What was it about? What was the story? Was it apocalyptic or just a bunch of metal hippies singing about world peace? I'm curious! :D

Re: Extreme

Thumper... if E3 is the only album of theirs you have, you OWE it to yourself to pick up Pornograffiti. There's LOT more to that album than just More Than Words and Hole Hearted.

Re: Extreme

I like Extreme too...lots of good tunes, great playing and great harmonies. I saw them last summer and they were really good. Nuno Bettancourt is the real deal - awesome guitar player. I gotta say though, Gary Cherone is pretty annoying - fair singer but pretty over the top as a front man.

Extreme II: Pornograffitti is the only cd I have and it's a great album although I remember in the 90s I was really bothered by More Than Words excessive playing everywhere :heheh:. In these days I only could wish songs like this to be overplayed on tv or radio :uh:.

Another great song from the cd:

Extreme - Hole Hearted
