Cool band. I grew up in Rockford so they played here quite often back in the 80's. I had no idea they had that many records out though! I'll have to check some of the later stuff out.

I saw Tom Petersson at Chilli's once. I've got one of their albums on cassette somewhere, the one with High On A New Thing on it.

I also recently got this album from 2002:



They have some different sounding songs on this album, kind of up-beat rock songs, some experimental sounds, some mideast sounds, not at all like the glam and hard rock of other albums.

Z-Overture rocks and IMHO is probably the heaviest song I have heard from them so far.

After the first couple they went right to their influences (not that it wasn't there in the beginning)...not so much alternative but more artsy. Beatles, Hoople, Zep ect.

Fun band to explore...you always get something new and different.
