Typically great Elton performance but what I find really special is the set list. Anyone else seen it? Sixty Years On Madman Across the water Where to Now St. Peter? Hercules Ballad of a Well Known Gun Take Me to the Pilot High Flying Bird Holiday Inn Burn Down the Mission Better Off Dead Levon Empty Garden Daniel Honky Cat Rocket Man I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues The Bridge Roy Rogers Mona Lisa's and Mad Hatters Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word Bennie and the Jets All the Girls Love Alice Tiny Dancer Something About the Way You Look Tonight Philadelphia Freedom Sad Songs (Say So Much) Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me I'm Still Standing The Bitch is Back Crocodile Rock Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting Funeral for a Friend / Love Lies Bleeding Your Song
That is a great set list RS...you notice how by far the majority of songs are from his early years, when he was at his best.
Wow! What a set list!!! I'm exhausted just looking at it. It's great to see all of those early songs & I'm really happy to see "Empty Garden" from the 80's. I always liked that tune but it just seems to have faded away over the years
Yes I do own it on Blu Ray and it is a great show. The definitive Elton John video IMO. Both video and audio are excellent.
Wow that's a great list, some of these are my favorite but I dont have the audio of them, does these all tracks are available at there official site.
Great set list from a great performer, sorry that I cannot see him (or have a beer with him) when he plays Chesterfield in June this year, although I respect him and like his music I am off to see some metal bands at Donnington, this one is a great song.......
Elton says he only plays Empty Garden on certain occasions since it's such a sad song. It was written about John Lennon.
