Another band I discovered just recently, which is a shock considering they have been recording for years, since the 70's...

A German progressive rock band that has some really good albums to their credit, I don't presume to be an expert, but I do have 4 CD's now. I started with what is considered their best work, Ocean a concept album recorded in 1977 about Atlantis and Poseidon and the folly of man.

A big favourite of me, their seventies output being the best. The vocals are not their strongest point, but their instrumental passages surely are. Their live album from 78 is really good and a nice overview of what they were about that time.

So LG, what albums do you have besides Ocean?

Floating, Dawn and Planets EF. I haven't played them enough to be able to offer an intelligent comment though...lol

I was really surprised how prolific they are, but the consensus is just like you said, their earlier material seems to be the best.

I Have Floating, Dawn, Ocean and their 78 live album. The rest of their 70's output I have on MP3's. And Chronicles I.

These guys are a really cool band. I'm not sure why some people call them a poorman's Pink Floyd. Sure they have a Floyd influence but they are their own animal IMO.
I have Floating on vinyl ,Ocean ,Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes, Colours
and Planets on import CD. I want more .....
