Eat Em and Smile was a good album, but not as good as OU812, which in my opinion, was THE very best Van Hagar album. Had this been 5150 vs DLR's album, I'd have taken Dave.
OU812 for me in spite of the production. Imagine how much better it'd be if you could hear the bass?!
EEAS is my least favourite of DLR's original trilogy (EEAS, Skyscraper and A Little Ain't Enough). I just don't care for the songs too much; a triumph of style over substance. That aside, Dave's still the man!
