Eastmountainsouth

is made up of male vocalist Peter Bradley Adams and Kat Maslich Bode includes some of the most beautiful harmonizing vocals I've ever heard. Kat on her own could be a successful vocalist in the vein of Sarah McLachlan but I'd rather hear her here complementing Peters vocals. This is definitely a mix of folk and celtic sounds! Noooooooooooooooooo! I must have turn this off after 2 seconds cause it didn't sound like Folk!

I'll have to agree with CP/M... I don't hear the folk element in it... Rather singer-songwriter with 2 vocals... (if singer songwriter counts as a genre...)

as for the music itself: nice voices, a little boring at times..

My Gut suggests their a pop based group - though someone has probably divided the pop group in several other forms depending on how the music is arranged.
