I thought I will make a special thread of all members that were in Deep Purple and joined or formed more obscure and more successful bands or released solo albums. We all know the Deep Purple family is quite huge, so there's been loads of stuff going on.

Three official threads already exist, so if you want to talk about them feel free to post there:

First I want to bring up here is Paice, Ashton & Lord album 'Malice In Wonderland'. I was quite surprised to buy this LP very cheap and found Bernie Marsden played guitar in this band, which I think is quite nice. Apparently after few drinks Paice, Ashton and Lord decided to give it a go even though Tony Ashton is not really a frontman. It's really weird album in my opinion, if you listen to Ghost Story (which I think is a great track) you will hear the crossover between Deep Purple and Whitesnake. Kinda funky sound, but hey...
