I think all of the songs on that album get too easily overshadowed by "Rebel Rebel" but I've always really liked the title cut from "Diamond Dogs" in particular.

Not really a valid comparison. One is known for his guitar work the other is a singer song writer. In terms of songwriting Bowie is near untouchable. I'd also say he's perhaps rock n rolls finest singer behind Freddie Mercury. His discography is pretty damn solid considering how long he's been around plus he's shown a good deal of versatility.
