We have now got a drummer who isn't a giant douche bag. His name is also Jacob, ironically, as was our previous drummer. We are currently debating what genre we are going to be. Adam and I want to keep it open and not label ourself a specific genre, and just play what we want, however my friend Max wants to be exclusivly Thrash, although I can sense his opinion is changing slightly, the more and more Adam and I push it, and Jacob, I don't know what he wants, but he seems like he has a pretty open mind.
We plan on getting together sometime soon, and practicing our asses off until we have written some songs. After that we'll try pooling together some money, and go record some tracks for a demo. That'll probably be the next time you'll hear some shit from us because we're going to take a break from just randomly recording and we are going to practice our asses off until we feel we're ready. That could be a year, it could be 2, heck it could be 4, we're only 16, we've got plenty of time to practice over the next few years. Tell ya guys more if anything interesting happens.
Hell, we might even change the artwork for our demo. My dad is a really great artist and he wants to do some stuff for us. I could actually probably post some of my dads artwork. He wants to design our mascot, kind of like how Iron Maiden has Eddie, Megadeth has Rattlehead, etc. Personally, the one we have now looks too much like the grim reaper itself. We want it to be a little bit different, so I'm actually discussing it with my dad over FB. Get back to you if we figure out some designs for it.
