How do you feel about country-rock? Who's your favorite contry-rock bands/artists?

Country rock is one of my favourite music genres to listen to. It gives that country music feel with an edgy side of rock! Loonie Mack's "Too Rock for Country, Too Country for Rock and Roll" is the perfect tune for this!

I live in France, and the genre Country Rock is included in the styles that bands use to present themselves. Up until internet crashed the music scene over here, they considered country only Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash! Boy did they get an eye opener
My personal favorites (and inspirations) are: The Doobie Brothers, The Eagles, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Montgomery Gentry, and the list goes on... Hmmm, few women on the country rock scene it seems (except maybe myself).
