I decided to make a cats vs. dogs poll mainly because:

    a.) I'm a complete loser.

b.) The topic has come up several times on the forum!

So which is it? Cats? Dogs? And which do you have? Let the debate begin! :grinthumb

    Dogs...easily.

Cats are pretty boring creatures that don't give a damn about anyone or anything, but dogs are the most amazing creatures, our dog is as much a part of the family as any of us, she never gets angry and she loves us unconditionally, even when we get mad with her, and yell at her if she does something bad, she just licks your face and wags her tail at you, she never judges us, and her mood is always one of total loyalty and affection for everyone she meets. When we all go out and leave her on her own, she cries and sits by the window looking for us, even if we are out for hours. The kids treat her like their little sister. Most dogs I think are like that to a greater or lesser extent. We had a cat once, he just slept, or wandered around the neighbourhood killing harmless birds just for fun of it (never once ate one as far as I could tell)

Both cats and dogs are great. I have owned both, and both sides have flaws. I chose cats because I've had cats longer than dogs. But, I had a husky a couple years ago that was the best dog I could have ever asked for.

So personally, if you like both, or one, or the other, that's just fine. It's all preference.

Plus...dogs dont meow uncontrollably over nothing, but cats dont poop on my carpet.
