Got to admit that I rate Carol as a top rock chick, up there with
Pat Benatar and Debbie Harry, but Carol seemed to get to the top
and then give it up... she could have ruled the world but instead
she chose marriage and being a mum

Maybe she made the right decision . she seems to be kind of a solo act
these days picking what venues to do

She was on the bus for an 80s nostalgia tour a few years ago that toured UK
and Europe.

But who can forget that red hair, those foxy looks and some great
music tracks ..... ? wot a babe !

Gotta say though, going on a world tour... singing songs like that night after
night ......... how could anyones voice take it ?

I would say Carol Decker was more pop than rock. It was a fairly short time in the limelight really. She comes from a town about three miles from where I live, and the keyboard player in the band was an old school-friend of mine. She was generally perceived as being very much up her own arse. Still - my old buddy seems to have done alright out of that run of chart hits.
