I just found this band about 10 minutes ago...and well I decided to share it.

    Cain's Offering on Wikipedia

Cain's Offering is a Finnish Power Metal supergroup (yeah, supergroup), started in 2009, and they have 1 album out, Gather the Faithful

    It's made up of

    -Stratovarius singer - Timo Kotipelto
-Former Sonata Arctica members - Jani Liimatainen (guitar) and Mikko Härkin (keyboard)
    -Norther/Wintersun bassist - Jukka Koskinen
And drummer (from where I don't know) - Jani Hurula

So yeah, what a great combination, almost as great as Northern Kings.

Anywho, this is the only song I've heard, because I haven't had time to give them a proper listen

I didn't know Kotipelto was doing a side project besides his solo stuff. I love his voice...great line up too! Thanks for the info!!!

    Good song!

Nice discovery Rob...I'll see if I can find the complete album in my voyages.

From the line-up it sure looks like a Finnish Super-group.

It is astonishing how many good bands come from Finland, Sweden and Norway, and Finland only has about 4 million people I think. One of the most rewarding musical experiences for me was discovering Gamma Ray a few years ago, and after that...well who knew there were so many great bands playing my kind of music overseas?

    :wow:

Haha Finland is my land of music :D. From Nightwish, and Sonata, and Norther, and Ensiferum, and oh so many others, they seem to just put out the music.

Haha, I was amazed myself when these guys started playing on my Last.FM, I immediately went to Wikipedia :D
