Thanks Jackie, love the clip, though the other thing couldn't interest me less as the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame is a joke and always has been - Dire Straits, who have sold 150 million records (the 15th biggest selling group of all time) still aren't in there, but somebody called Laura Nyro, who has been dead for 15 years, I see get's inducted this year. You need to rely on Jackie (JG) for pics gcczep, I'm seeing The Boss in June, but it's in a 50,000 seater football stadium and we only have nosebleed seats, I bet Jackie is maximum 5 rows back at her Bruce show knowing her!!
No!!! I was dealing with that Ticketmaster fiasco that happened the day of the sale. :mad I was lucky I even got tickets, but I did and took the first thing offered. I don't do the GA tickets because I don't want to worry about waiting in line for hours the day of the show and then the lottery number crap and then probably not even get a good place in the front anyway. The whole floor at the IZOD Center is GA too. I like to have my ticket, show up for the show an hour or two before the show, have a few cocktails while tailgating, and then stroll over to my seat. The IZOD Center is smaller than MetLife (Giants Stadium) but I am still on the 2nd tier but close to the stage so it shouldn't be too bad. My birthday is April 5th and I'm seeing Bruce April 4th. I can't think of a better birthday present.
They do cocktails in New Jersey? Well you did better than I did, the show I'm seeing is at the Manchester City football/soccer stadium, which is about a 50,000 seater, though for concerts it's closer to 38,000-40,000, and if you take the red area as the stage, we're up in the section with the yellow blob (I'm getting very creative here for 8.15 in the morning!)...
Sure we do cocktails! Last Bruce show I went to I was drinking Long Island Iced Teas. Then I switched to beer when I got inside. Bad move! I think I'll stick to just a few beers this time. But it was a beautiful night and it was so nice being outside and listening to Bruce. When I went to see him in Giants Stadium, I had floor seats (which actually had seats for that show). But I ended up standing on my seat most of the time though. My perfect seat would be first row, level 1, first seat, nearest the stage. That's not too much to ask, is it?
His vette was/is sure cooler than hell! Just browsed through the last page or two and didn't see it posted.. Bruces new song/video.. Like it for the most part, but I do have some mixed feelings about it.. not quite as raw and rambunctious as I like for Bruce, but I can't down talk it at all..
^^^ I actually made a separate thread for it, but it definitely deserves to be here too. His 'vette is beautiful! I can't wait to go see the exhibit.
A few love songs from Bruce... Valentine's Day The Brokenhearted I Wanna Marry You So Young And In Love (great live version)
So many GREAT rarities in this thread, 'So Young and In Love' is just amazing, hearing Clarence blowin' up a storm there gives me a lump in my throat.
I still can't believe he's gone Sound....still seems very unreal to me like it didn't happen. Everytime I put on a DVD I'm all
