British ex-students: what bands did you see in the Uni Union?

    In the 1970s, in your university union. College circuit bands. Maybe some made it big (The Clash), some stayed middling (Family) and some sadly fell away...
    Some bands I saw (1976-78) Kokomo, Deaf School, Wreckless Eric, John Otway, Dr Feelgood, Eddie and the Hot Rods, Dave Edmunds, Kilburn and the High Roads, Cado Belle, The Kursaal Flyers.

    Some good bands there mentioned Harry ! I loved Dr Feelgood and Eddie and the Hotrods in their day. They are still playing the circuit. Amazingly I saw a poster fairly recently in Manchester that Deaf School were doing a gig, back from a long retirement
