Ronnie may not have done any old Sabbath tunes after he left Black Sabbath, but he definitely did them when he was in the band. Live Evil (1982) is proof of this. Just about even number of Ozzy-Sabbath songs as there are Dio-Sabbath songs.

You're right. I've been out of the loop. I need to listen to more Sabbath without the Ozz man. I have some Sabbath with Dio, but sort of avoided it for too long is all and I'll never forget how much I enjoyed 'Born Again' with 'Zero the Hero' and many more. Thanks for the reminder! :)

I was just prompted by a couple of individual comments, sorry!
For me, yes, some with Ronnie Dio, but as I said, I kind of think of them as a different band then anyway. Which I guess says something about my perception of Black Sabbath - for me, Ozzy was a major defining factor for that band. After Dio, I lost interest in them completely, but might rectify this at some point. I didn't like Born Again when it was released, but might give it another try.

Obviously a Sabbath fan like myself, but Dio started his Solo career and kicked Ass! So did Ozzy! Perhaps Black Sabbath is more like a Phenomenon than a Band.

b.t.w. noticed a few more kinda votes out there. ;)

I said YA because Black Sabbath is Tony Iommi. Period.
