Not going into some big rant...

but, that was horrible...

Especially, those the dudes in the Black Eyed Peas - they can't sing to save there lives. I don't think any of those guys would go far even on American Idol.

I think their music is studio trickery. These dudes can't sing a note. I'm not a fan of Fergie, but she's clearly the talent, and if she left, it would be over for them. Actually, I don't think she anything special.

Sure, I'm not a fan of the B.E.P.'S, but they were worse than I thought.

And before anyone accuses of me of anything, on another Classic Rock site, we discussed the the half time shows - the good and bad - so this year should be no different.

I dunno Groovy, The Black Eyed Peas are a popular group. I personally didn't think they put on a bad performance, although, I am not into their type of music.

Fegie isn't the glue that binds the Peas together, but she sure is a hottie!


I cant go on record as saying their half-time performance was horrible. It wasn't. I can go on record as saying I dont listen to their music because I am not a fan.........


Anyway, I feel what Christina Aguilera did to the lyrics of the National Anthem was far worse than any Black Eyed Peas performance.

No opinion, I don't watch the half time shows anymore.

The NFL was getting a lot of criticism from younger fans for recycling bands that our generation grew up with, so they decided to change things up and try something new. I give them props for that, but I cannot listen to any of the BEP's music, it bores me.

In the Super Bowl thread some people have already said it's one of the worst shows ever.

I agree with Groovy. 100%. The Black Eyed Peas sounded like crap!! Worse than crap actually~ There were a couple points where they were "rapping" and I outright laughed because it was so bad it was hilarious. But it reached it's absolute depths of crappy-ness when Fergie tried to sing Sweet Child O Mine. My wife and I felt embarrassed watching it because it was THAT bad. Thank goodness for the "mute" button on my remote!!

The Black Eyed Peas are an embarrassment to the human race. No wonder in movies aliens always come to destroy the Earth. Maybe they got a glimpse of what we saw last night and it made 'em go berserk!

I just watched it on YouTube.I watched it by myself(closed curtains,headphones,just in case the neighbours seen or heard),i felt really embarrassed for some strange reason,at times it was funny,mostly i just felt very embarrassed,like i'd just been caught masturbating or something.
I could go on and on but i will leave it at that.

The next time someone i know asks me why i listen to ''old music'' i will show them the video.

I didn't catch all of it. I got a text from someone that told me to turn on channel 8 so I did and then I see Slash there in a bedazzled top hat playing a solo and though "Oh.....well......I might as well watch the rest of it at this point."

I wasn't all too thrilled.

I found a Fergie tune I liked in Soot's BEP thread and I'm sorry bro for not diggin' this half time, but to offer a bit of positive...Ben Folds would have done a fabulous half time.

They should call him up next.

I'm hearing alot more "it sucked" comments on the show this year than last year. But what do I know, I couldn't watch any of the game and/or halftime show. So I can't say much.

The NFL should let fans vote for who they want to see.

I had heard it in the background, I wasn't actually watching it, but from what I heard, I was not impressed at all. I have definitely heard better live performances from them, and that was not one of them.
