Billie Holiday, Janis Joplin, and Ramón "Mongo" Santamaría's versions all come to mind.

According to the WIKI SITE, the song has been recorded over 25,000 times!

My personal favorite I think is the Janis Joplin/Big Brother version:

I love Janis, but I just cant do that version. Its one of the few times that her voice actually bothers me.

McCartney did a verson too that isnt horrible, but still not one of my favorites.
