Traffic - Pearly Queen, Hole in my Shoe.
Pink Floyd - Emily Play
Rare Bird - Sympathy
Status Quo - Pictures of Matchstick Men
Cream - I feel free
Doors - The End, People Are Strange, Alabama Song
Melanie Safka - The Saddest Thing (It was released in 1970 however the song has such a 60's feel to it I have included it on my list)

Above is just a few out of many talents to rise out of the 60's

Nice list @Jake T !:) . I like them all. And now that you mentioned the song Fire with Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, I can tell that there is published a new CD with Crazy World Of Arthur Brown this year. It is entitled 'Gypsy Woodo' and the song Fire is also on the CD.

Couldn't find a decent place to put this anywhere else. Thought it would be of interest to some though.

Probably bit of a sweeping statement but rock music probably got better the longer the decade progressed until by 1967-1969 it sounded pretty good.
