Yes Mika! From 2009...love his voice...rather different and quirky like his songs!

The best album of 2009 is without a doubt the brilliant "KEEP IT HID" from DAN AUERBACH the greatest rock n' roll vocalist since LENNON.

Wow, listening to some songs now, I really like them.

Dan Auerbach is the King of rock n' roll today (in my opinion), he released "KEEP IT HID" in 2009 (solo debut) but he plays in an incredible 2 piece called THE BLACK KEYS (I discovered their music back in 2003). Do yourself a favour & check them out (let me know what you think).

THE BLACK KEYS
DAN AUERBACH - Guitar & Vocals
PATRICK CARNEY - Drums

Thanks, I'm aware of The Black Keys and I do like them.

I think the best albums are as follow:

1. Sigh No More- Mumford & Sons
2. Black Clouds & Silver Linings- Dream Theater
3. Red Light Fever- Hot Leg
4. Give Up The Ghost- Brandi Carlile

Very different albums there that all shine. :good

Hey Limpy, I'm a fan too. Here's a thread on Mika if you want to drop in and check it out:

http://www.classicrockforums.com/forum/f20/official-mika-thread-5970/

Thankyou Soot and Stars...sorry for the very late reply, I haven't been on this thread for a while! What do like about Mika?

Actually while you got me thinking, he has never come to Australia for a tour! If he did, I would so go and see him! I know he's done like promotions on those morning tv news shows, but thats about all =/ Have you seen him live?
