Having enjoyed the first two Ayreon projects, Arjen continued to develop his story and in 1998 he released "The Electric Castle". This is the CD that garnered him some much deserved recognition and inspired him to keep the saga going. I love the narration at the beginning of each track, and the music is excellent, no surprise seeing who is listed on the credits, including Fish of Marillion fame.

Track 4 Time Beyond Time, but this album Must be heard in it's entirety, it just has too much going on to pick out one or two songs.;)

For my friend Sox to consider another track from the Electric Castle album.

    Amazing Flight.

I'll do the next album tomorrow, I forgot about Arjen and he deserves some love.:grinthumb

I was intrigued by that simply outstanding album cover, and I loved the song "Amazing Flight"! The guitar is very nice and the vocals have a bit of a Neal Morse quality too, it's the first song I've heard from them and I'm digging this! :grinthumb

Neal Morse is one of Arjen's MANY singers in the Ayreon projects.

Fish also if you're a Marillion fan :grinthumb

^^I love Ayreon, but the cycle is over and the story is finished so I can't help but wonder what Arjen is going to do next....
