After the release of their EP, Pray For Metal, this Swedish Heavy Metal band from the 80's released The Lord Of Flies in 1983!! After their second album, Visions From The Past, all the members had left except for vocalist Anders Wallentoft and guitarist Magnus Jarl.




The band broke up in 1987 after releasing a third album, and though short lived, many metal fans still love these guys...also many have The Lord Of Flies in their collection. It's a very dark piece of melodic, metallic fun, that all metal fans should get a hold of.

Another great band I had no clue existed. Are all their albums good or is there one I should try to find?

I would go with The Lord Of Flies...that's a classic...they only have a couple..and usually have to be special ordered anymore.



I had TLOF on vinyl and had re bought it on CD less than a year ago.

This is a band I know of and have heard a few times and then again but
don't own anything of theirs. Going back to give 'em another listen after posting
