[Riff Raff]

Autopsy are a death metal band I have been keeping an interest in recently, discovered this by a youtube metal reviewer coverkillernation. I picked up their 2011 album Macabre Eternal and I have to say this has a lot of good dirty gritty death metal riffing, very focused work if I am to go by this album alone, I haven't heard their other albums as yet but so far this is a band I thought I would try to get others here to listen to.
As I said I have yet to listen to their previous material but definitely try Macabre Eternal for really good focused death metal. It goes down as one of my favourite 2011 albums.

Yes, this is one of the few death metal bands I enjoy. I am not much of a fan of the cookie monster vocals and blast beats these days.
If you are looking at getting another album of theirs I would go with Severed Survival

AUTOPSY freakin' rules, Riff. The first two Severed Survival and
1991's Mental Funeral are both Death metal classics. You need to check into both of them.

And kept my word and got these two albums.
Really enjoying Severed. I love how raw the early death metal albums sound. Was just classic gritty death metal.
Pagan Saviour was pretty cool.


Charred Remains a great opener.
