Yep, we did! :D I really liked the second song and overall the band sounded good. I'm curious what your opinion MP for why we don't get exposed to them today like we would a Queen, Doors, Led Zeppelin or CCR? I thought nostalgia brought every band to be sold today but I'm finding out I'm wrong.

They were overshadowed back in the 70's..as they were on KISS' label Casablanca. With those two acts being the only rock bands on a disco label...looks like KISS is going to win in the promotions end of things.

They really were something however and rank up there in my top 10 bands of all time!

Two of their out of print releases On Earth As It Is In Heaven & Sinful have finally been re-issued. They are still a HUGE cult band from the 70's!

They get tagged as a glam band but this was the 70's..nothing at all to do with 80's hair bands...except possibly an influence.

Re: ANGEL (appreciation thread)

I was(am) a huge Angel fan(although I didn't really care for their 'In the Begining' album that came out in the 90's). I wish there would be an actual DVD of a full show of theirs. They have the double live album out so I would think there is video locked away someplace. I almost got to see them in '78 but couldn't go at the last minute for some reason but their stage show was supposed to be incredible. The big Angel Head behind the drum riser would talk & announce the band(it may not sound like such a big deal now but back in 1978...)They had a lot of special effects including the members disappearing at times(I'm not positive if this was used but from what I remember it was.I know they worked with a magician for their stage show back then & they were supposed to have done it)).
There are so many great songs & there isn't one on those first 3 albums I don't like
