Fantastic band S&L. The Octopus is one of my fav releases from 2010. I was so impressed that I downloaded a couple of thier EP's, Eternity(2009), and Fractal(2011) which is actually left over tracks from The Octopus recordings.

Another band worth checking out is Oceansize from the same city as Amplifier(Manchester, UK) and is similar psych/prog/alternative rock. Either Effloresce or Frames are the best two IMO.

This isn't a bad band! I'd recommend them for fans of the Maynard James Keenan school of music! Here's a song from each of the three albums:

Neon
(I hear a little Snow Patrol in this )

Procedures
(a little more on the Bush side here )

The Wave
(awesome vid, best song of the bunch IMO)
