A lot of people might not know and/or remember it, but Rod Stewart used to be good. Every Picture Tells a Story is one my favorite albums of all time.

never a dull moment is also primo and almost as good.

and yeah, martha, i'm a faces freak. that box set is one of my top five box sets ever.

rod needs a cattleprod, musically-speaking. he's also turned into one crotchetty birch.

He had some good stuff in the 70's, though most of his later output leaves a lot to be desired. A few of his later songs, like "Forever Young", were decent.

Page was off on some songs; I admit...He was good on Whole Lotta Love though...trying out some sounds from the Firm on it...Phil sucked though for the most part.
Plant admitted later on in the press that he was hoarse and Page was out of tune...so I'll go with the band in general being "off"

not for me.
sorry.
I thought Page was REALLY off his game.
maybe my expectations were a little out of whack.
Well, I agree he was really off his game. The whole performance was pretty bad for Led Zeppelin. They even thought so.

as much as I dread "Do you Think I'm Sexy" MY All time Low for Rod is those standards albums he's been doing.

Blech.

That's the best Rod tune! A timeless disco classic!

sadly, I do dread more than a few timeless Disco Classics.
they sound really great the first 8 or 9 thousand times...

Are you a fan of "I Was Made For Lovin' You" by Kiss, Martha?
