Probably my favorite pure solo folk singer but also love Joni Mitchell.
My friend Greg ( passed on now...had the largest music collection I have ever seen) turned me onto him in 1990 and told me he died young and was somewhat obscure ...about 9 years before the Pink Moon tv ad. I was blown away by his music and still a big fan. I bought the cd box set Fruit Tree when it came out and later found the vinyl.
Not sure how anyone wouldn't like his music but then it's always subjective.
